Terms of use

Last updated 11 August 2026

GroupTrip is a planning and referral service. It helps groups organise ideas but is not a travel agent and does not sell or fulfil flights, accommodation or activities.

Using GroupTrip

You may use GroupTrip for lawful personal trip planning. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you add, for protecting invitation links, and for ensuring you have permission before entering another person’s information.

Travel bookings

Bookings are made directly with the travel provider you choose. Its prices, availability, cancellation rules, refunds and terms apply. Check passenger names, dates, visa and passport requirements, insurance, accessibility needs and official travel advice before paying.

Recommendations and estimates

Destination matches, budgets, countdowns and itinerary suggestions are planning aids only. Prices and availability can change. GroupTrip does not guarantee that a recommendation will suit every traveller or that an estimate will match the final booking cost.

Shared trip content

Do not post unlawful, abusive, misleading or sensitive content. Anyone holding the invitation link may be able to see trip content. GroupTrip may restrict or remove content or access where reasonably necessary for safety, security or operation of the service.

Availability and liability

GroupTrip is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, GroupTrip is not responsible for supplier failures, cancellations, injuries, lost property, border decisions, weather, price changes or other events outside its control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

Features and these terms may change as the early-access service develops. Continuing to use GroupTrip after an updated version is published means the updated terms apply from that point.
